Chris “C.J. Flash” Jourdan is an extremely talented D.J., songwriter, producer, arranger and musician. He produces everything from Hip-Hop to Jazz and is considered one of the Bay Area’s original Hip-Hop pioneers. His history as a DJ goes back to 1982 when he began experimenting heavily with the turntables. His popularity grew as a party D.J., and earned him a spot on what was then the Bay Area’s hottest underground music show - Music For The People on KALX 90.7FM in Berkeley.

Chris Clouse is a man of many hats and a true musician at his core. From his early beginnings of being a competition fiddle player to now, he has crossed genres, written and recorded numerous albums, shared stages with the likes of Johnny Cash, The Flaming Lips, The Beach Boys, Gorgon City, Miike Snow, The War On Drugs and Kaskade.

After I played at my first Mid-winter Gala...I had a great sense of accomplishment, because I knew that I threw down on that party and people would always remember it. Being invited back for a second year really validated those feelings for me.

His placement as a finalist in the 2008 USA national DMC team DJ competition reflects his artistic skill and leadership among the top DJs in the United States. Furthermore, he has worked with some of the music industry's top celebrities including hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, R&B chart-topper Tyrese, as well as other international celebrities and multi-platinum record producers.

The name, Russell “Big Russ” Gatewood, has been synonymous with the Bay Area music scene for nearly 25 years. His fingerprint can be traced on almost every aspect and genre dating back to the ‘80s. His career began when Hip Hop showed him that turntables could be a musical instrument. He took that inspiration and ran with it, learned the craft from legends, spearheaded a local DJ collective and quickly became one of the more popular DJ’s in the region.
