All five members of 311 grew up in the 1970’s in Omaha, Nebraska. Nick Hexum, Tim Mahoney and Chad Sexton lived on the west side of town and went to Westside High School together. P-Nut and SA Martinez lived on the south side of town and went to Bryan High School together. In March, 311 embarked on their third Caribbean Cruise, Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, another private island in the Bahamas, 3/1-3/5. The cruise was on the Norwegian Pearl ship with 30,000 fans representing all 50 US States and 10+ countries onboard.

Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. The band are signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, both owned by Warner Music Group. Williams is separately signed to Atlantic as she was scouted when she was 13/14 years old, and they were the only label to let her stay in the band instead of going solo, but Atlantic said the rest of the band had to sign to FBR.
